Front pocket comfort at last
After a couple weeks, I can sit in my truck without that back-pocket pressure.
Gifted it, he loved it
I bought this for my brother after he complained about his thick back-pocket bifold hurting his leg. He’s on his feet all day at the shop, then drives home and sits for dinner, and he kept saying the discomfort started quickly after about 10 minutes. A week after switching, he told me his license and insurance card are right there and he doesn’t have to keep adjusting his wallet. He even said the cards showing on the first push made it faster when he’s grabbing what he needs.
Works well, small tradeoff
I like the staircase card fan and the front-pocket fit. The aluminum case feels firm, so I had to get used to pushing the side lever smoothly.
Would buy again
I’m thinking of getting another one for my husband, since he finally stops fussing with his old bifold.
Doubted it at first
I didn’t believe a front-pocket wallet could stay comfortable when I’m sitting and driving all day. I mostly carry my license, my insurance card, and a few more cards, plus cash, and it fits without that thick back-pocket pressure. After a couple weeks, I realized I’m not constantly leaning back or shifting just to make my old bifold feel better. The way the cards fan out is also practical when I’m in and out of the truck or talking to customers.
Arrived fast, packaging looked solid
Mine showed up on time and the aluminum case looked even better out of the box. After using it for a bit, I’m glad I downsized to just my license, insurance card, and cash.
Daily driver since day one
I carry it in the front pocket of my work pants, and it’s been comfortable even when I’m sitting in the cab. With my old bifold, the discomfort would start after about 5 to 20 minutes, and I’d keep adjusting it without thinking. Now I just push the side lever when I need a card, and everything is visible instead of digging. After a few weeks, I also stopped carrying extra stuff because it’s set up for the cards and cash I actually use.
Better than my old bifold
For the price, it’s worth it compared to my thick bifold that bothered me every time I sat down.
Recommend it to friends
I got one because my back-pocket bifold would start bothering me pretty quickly when I sat at work or in the truck. Now I keep my license, insurance card, a few other cards, and cash, and it stays in the front pocket without me constantly adjusting. I also like that the cards fan out when you push the lever, so I’m not rummaging around. I told my cousin and my coworker to check it out because they’re both tired of bulky wallets.
Finally comfortable in my pocket
After a couple weeks, my husband stopped complaining after sitting, and cards stay visible.
Gift that really stuck
I bought it for my husband because his thick bifold always bothered him after sitting. He tried it for a week and said the front pocket felt way easier and the cards are faster to grab.
Works well, one small issue
The pop-up feature is handy and I can carry just my license, insurance, and a few cards like I wanted. The only thing is the push lever takes a couple tries to get used to, but after that it’s fine.
Solid swap from my bifold
I’m usually in and out of the truck all day, and my old back-pocket bifold would make me uncomfortable after about 10 minutes of sitting. With this, I keep it in the front pocket and it stays put without the constant readjusting. The cards fanning out makes it easier when I’m at the job site and need to grab the right card fast. I don’t overstuff it; I keep my license and insurance plus a couple others and folded cash when needed. I can see myself reordering for another family member if they ask.
Was skeptical, got convinced
I didn’t think a front-pocket wallet would make that much difference, but it did for me. After switching to carrying only 3 to 5 cards plus cash, I’m not constantly leaning forward to deal with a thick back-pocket wallet. The pop-up makes it quick to find what I need.
The size is perfect
I like that it’s basically deck-of-cards size, not bulky in the front pocket. I carry my license, insurance card, and a couple more, and the zipper pocket is useful for a small key. It feels like something I’ll keep using instead of switching back.
Easy daily routine
I push the side lever in the morning, and by the time I’m in the car my cards are ready to grab.
Worth it compared to my old one
I paid more than my last metal card holder, but I’ve stopped going back and forth because this actually holds cash and keeps everything organized. With my usual 3 to 5 cards and a few bills, it fits right and I’m not dealing with that uncomfortable back-pocket feel.
Bought for my brother
I got this for my brother because he hated the thick-bifold in the back pocket. He tried it on a couple drives and said he didn’t have that constant discomfort anymore.
Good feel, one small gripe
It does exactly what I wanted for quick access: license and insurance are easy to grab. Only thing is I still had to get used to pushing the lever instead of opening it like my old bifold.
Planning to buy another
I’ve been carrying just 4 to 5 cards plus cash and a small key in the front zip. After a few weeks it feels like the only wallet that doesn’t annoy me when I’m sitting all day.
Easy to grab the right card
The push-and-fan is simple, and my license and insurance card are always easy to find.
Quick shipping, neat unboxing
Got it in the time window, and the aluminum case looks well made right out of the box.
Good idea, not perfect
My friend likes it for the front pocket, but I’m still deciding if it’s worth switching from my current bifold.
Finally comfortable in my pocket
After a week, I can sit in my truck without feeling that thick-bifold pressure.
Thought it wouldn’t work
I was skeptical, but the front-pocket size and card pop-up made everything faster after a few days.
Carry what you actually use. Leave the rest at home.
Keep what you use. 4 to 6 cards in the aluminum case, 4 more in the flap, cash folded once.
Move it up front. About the size of a deck of cards, made for the front pocket of your jeans or work pants.
Push. Pick. Pay. One push on the lever and your cards fan out, in order.

How many cards does it hold?
The aluminum case holds 4 embossed cards or up to 6 flat cards. The flap holds 4 more, plus cash folded once, and the zip pocket takes coins or a small key.
Will my cards get stuck?
Cards fit snug on purpose so they never slide out. Push them in firmly the first few times. Extra-thick cards, like some insurance or ID cards, are best kept in the flap slots.
Is it really front-pocket size?
Yes. It measures 3.9 x 2.8 x 0.8 in, about the size of a deck of playing cards.
Does RFID blocking actually matter?
The aluminum case blocks the signal contactless cards use, so the cards inside it can't be read through it. Honestly, the real reason to switch is front-pocket comfort. RFID is a bonus.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping is free on every US order. Orders ship within 1 to 3 business days and usually arrive in 7 to 14 business days. You get a tracking number by email.
How does the 90-day guarantee work?
Email us within 90 days of delivery with your order number. We reply with the return address, and once the wallet is back with us we refund the full product price. Return shipping is paid by the customer.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. Every Halvard comes with a limited lifetime warranty. If it fails because of a defect in materials or workmanship, we replace it for free, for as long as you own it. Normal wear, accidents, loss and theft are not covered.
Is it real leather?
No. The flap is a durable vegan leather (PU) with stitched edges, wrapped around an anodized aluminum case.
